Only The Brave

This movie is a 2017 action drama produced by Lorenzo Bonaventura, Thad Luckinbill, Trent Luckinbill, Molly Smith, And jeremy Steckler to name a few. And wonderful directing work from Joseph Kosinski. The movie has a great cast, we have Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, James Badge Dale,Taylor Kitsch and Jennifer Connelly just to name a few. From the $38 million budget the movie only bought in 21. million from the box office. The film is based on a crew of firefighters battling a fire in Arizona. The production of the movie however took place in some places around New Mexico.Only the Brave is a fantastic presentation of the events and the fire fighters who risked their lives on a daily basis. Although it may feel a little slow at moments, I believe this is a film that’s enjoyable much for everyone.

So theres crew of firefighters who are out to become the next crew of “Hot Shots,” doing what they must, which means hiring some talent willing to do the job. The film takes you
into the lives of these guys outside of work and really gives you vision in each one of their jobs. The movie kept you watching throughout each one of the fires, and I loved how the director didn’t make it to serious to the point of depression. With a nice mix of bickering and action, these characters were more likable than I thought they would be, which i believe added a level of intensity to the film. It really is the fact that the films director but together a great cast that really makes you feel for them when the movie really started to get good. I was not familiar with the true events about these fire fighters, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from the finale of this movie.

Although I feel there are some unexpected parts about it, I feel as though it respected the families involved in the real events. In multiple ways the final act of this film had a lot of surprises. Only the Brave is definitely a slow watch at times and its run time is kind of long and the material of the movie stretches out a bit, but when the movie was slow it also takes its time to get the audience to connect to its characters, so it’s sort of a catch-22. The performances were all around terrific,Only The Brave seems to go a direction that seems to be inspired, and order of events that will have you on the edge of your seat, this is a very good and well-made a memorable movie that I can confidently say will be one of the best films of the year. This movie i must say is highly recommend to everyone to view.
